Discussion Questions
Hello, my lovelies!
Just imagine how Shakespeare would feel if we jumped in the Tardis and told him that 400 years in the future, students in grade 8 would be engaging in a lively discourse on an online blog. Well…it would be more complicated than that because we would have to explain what a computer was, the Internet and the phenomenon of blogging…but overall, I think he would appreciate that students of both sexes and a variety of backgrounds were writing together as a community.
After we finish reading a scene from A Midsummer's Night Dream in class, you will be given a discussion question posted on this blog spot. There are multiple scenes per act and there are 5 acts. You are required to answer one discussion questions per 5 (so you choose which scene you want to respond to). Therefore, by time we finish reading A Midsummer's Night Dream, you will have posted a total of 5 answers.
Each answer must be at least 100 words long. You may respond to the questions directly or you may reply to another person's comment. Remember to participate respectfully and considerately. If you disagree with someone's response, that's fine, so long as you counter the argument in a way that does not hurt the commenter's feelings.
Good luck and have fun!
Ms. Lanzetta
